Are you Licensed to fly a Drone?

Yes, all pilots are Part 107 Certified through the Federal Aviation Administration.  Licensure and training are kept current as regulated by the FAA.

How high can the drone fly?

All properties are scanned prior to arrival for airspace limitations.  A drone is legally permitted to fly to 400ft, though in some cases this may be lower, or not permitted to fly at all.  You will be notified prior to the photo shoot if there are any conflicts with the fly zone your are requesting.

What if it rains?

Picture KC uses supplemental lighting such as flash, as well as hand-blending editing techniques to create bright interiors regardless of the weather.
For exteriors, sky replacements are utilized free of charge to create a blue sky every time.  In fact, cloudy days are often preferred in exterior architectural photography to avoid harsh shadows caused by surrounding landscapes and buildings.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

What's the difference between a Virtual Twilight and a True Twilight?

A True Twilight is taken at dusk or dawn and uses several exposures to blend together a vibrant image of a property as the sun is setting or rising.

A Virtual Twilight is when a daytime image is converted in Photoshop to create a similar effect.

What is the difference between the standard edit and HDR Ultra Budget Package?

The signature Picture KC look is a process we have developed to create true-to-life images for each property’s unique setting.  Flash photography is utilized to correct various light and color conditions.  Multiple exposures are taken on-site to create a single image, then they are hand-blended in editing to create the finished image.

The HDR Ultra Budget Package is a simpler process intended to accommodate smaller marketing budgets.  Flash photography is replaced with natural light and editing is completed through computer automation.

Professional knowledge of composition, camera settings, and editing techniques are used in both options, however, the process is slightly tweaked to reflect the necessary budget limitations.
